The third Mega Messiah at the world-famous Wales Millennium Centre

Amateur singers from all over Wales and the South West filled the stalls of this iconic theatre on Sunday 3 November 2013, to rehearse and perform Handel’s masterpiece with internationally-acclaimed conductor David Lawrence.  David's energy, musicality and gentle wit once again helped him to turn a group of unrehearsed strangers into a fantastic choir in just one day.

As well as providing a thrilling experience,, Mega Messiah also raises valuable funds and public awareness for the great work of The Prince’s Trust Fairbridge Programme and Wales Millennium Centre's Creative Learning programme.

This year, the orchestra was Sinfonia Cymru and Friends. Singers from the Wales International Academy of Voice performed selected solos. They were:

Susanna Fairbairn (soprano), Caroline Carragher (alto), Wyn Edward Davies, Alexander Wilson (tenors), Oliver Hunt (bass)
